Race #1 – Trevor Croley used a strong run and second fastest bike split to take the overall win. Missy Belk, in an even more impressive performance, put up the 4th fastest run and 6th fastest bike split (of all participants) to take the female overall. The top 3 teams all had very close bike splits, but Chris Castillo and Kyle Sartain used dominating runs to walk away with an easy victory.
Race #2 – Jim Hoodenpyle used a crushing, race best bike split to overcome a minute deficit on the run. Missy Belk ran the 3rd fastest run split, including men, to easily take the women’s crown.
Race #3 – Missy Belk held a slim lead at the end of the first run, was overtaken by Eric Johnson on the bike, and came just a few seconds of taking back the entire deficit. Very close race. She showed she means business and is capable of taking the overall win at any duathlon in our area.
Race #4 – Eric Johnson took it with the 4th fastest first run, 3rd fastest bike, and 3rd fastest second run. Missy Belk once again showed that she is a force to be reckoned with, especially in 2013 as 2012 was her first year of training on the bike! Look out boys!

Race #1 – Who is afraid of 30 mile per hour winds? Not the 50 people who showed up at race #1. Perennial top team Landon Hough and Josh Steele came in first overall. Alan Nippes was the top male and Robyn Holland won top female honors. View race photos. (5/11)
Race #2 – Race #2 had Landon and Josh coming in first overall again. Ben Shenck edged Alan Nippes for the top males honors and Dana Nippes took home top female. (5/18)
Race #4 – Michael Farmer and Ross Tilghman gave Landon and Josh a scare, but the top team came through once again. Tony Hahn pulled out the overall male win at the young age of 54 and Jennifer Brown took home top female honors. (6/8)
Race #3 – It was a beautiful day. Our winner, Ben Schenk, puked on the 2nd run and barely held off a strong 50-something Tony Hahn. Amy Livesay came all the way down from columbia to place 3rd overall and embarrass the rest of the guys in the field…including her husband Mark! Full Splits available. (6/22)
